London Borough of Islington's Environmental and Regeneration Department commissioned a public exhibition and meeting room, with an information desk and adjoining offices located on the ground floor street front to their offices on Upper Street, London. The idea was to create local awareness of environmental issues offering assistance to the public of ways to lower their carbon footprint. Planning meetings were held in this area too. The display is constructed from repurposed timbers, the lighting feature overhead is made from hundreds of used plastic bottles.
